"Tour to Gombe Stream and Mahale National Park are beauty and unique. There are parks without roads where you can walk and experience nature with all your senses. All Game Viewing at the Parks are done on foot. Day 1 Depart by Air to Katavi National Park

Safari starts from Dar es Salaam; fly to Mpanda and transfer to Katavi National Park. After lunch, enjoy afternoon game drive safari in Katavi and late evening sundowners. Overnight at Katavi Wildlife Camp.

Day 2: Walking Safaris & Game Drives in Katavi

Start the day with a sunrise walking safari to explore the untamed Katavi floodplain, walk near water pods and watch hippos and other wildlife at close range; late morning break for brunch. Proceed with the afternoon game and drive safari to Katavi’s inner side. Overnight at Katavi Wildlife Camp.
3 & 4

Day 3 & 4:Full Day Game Drives in Katavi

After breakfast, spend another day exploring the wilderness of Katavi floodplain with picnic lunches. Game drive along the meandering river and patches of forest and enjoy the picturesque view of the park. Return to the lodge for sundowners; in the evening. Overnight at Katavi Wildlife Camp.

Day 5: Depart for the Mahale Mountain

After breakfast, take a shared chartered flight to Mahale Mountains. Transfer by boat along Lake Tanganyika to the Kungwe Beach Lodge. Lunch at the lodge; followed by afternoon chimpanzee tracking safari in Mahale Mountain. Overnight at Kungwe Beach Lodge.

Day 6 & 7: Chimpanzee Tracking at Mahale Mountains

Enjoy morning chimpanzee tracking safaris and bird watching in the Mahale Mountains, visit the Chimpanzee research centre, and lunch at lodge. Afternoons at leisure and sundowners by the Lake Tanganyika. Overnight at Kungwe Beach Lodge.

Day 8: Depart by Air to Dar es Salaam

Breakfast in the park and then boat ride to Kigoma. Transfer to the airport for your flight to Dar es Salaam. We will offer transport from the airport to your hotel within the city centre.
